Husbands who get hungry enough learn to cook for themselves. Actually, one of the first things he brought me was fried rice he had made himself. I do know how to pick ‘em. I am so impressed by your post and your lemonade! I have never squeezed more than two lemons at a go in my entire life!!!

I often do the reusing of bottles and wonder at the combined smell/taste. Like I might have just put some homemade soap in a container that had frozen chicken broth in it for awhile. Mmm, chicken soap.
Peace out and nice blogging, homes.

I started to make mine about 2 months ago (omg, I still haven’t added my simple syrup because I decided to have a baby and forgot about it) and it was awesome walking into the liquor store with a beach ball belly and buying two bottles of Everclear. =) I also make lemonade afterward but if you want to go one step further and make use of your peels, throw them into a pot of boiling water with a few cinnamon sticks and then bring it to a simmer and just let it sit all day. Oh, and don’t forget to add more water at times of course! It makes the house smell AMAZING! It is a staple in our home around the holiday season too. Miss you guys!
